Chicago Con 2001

[Arlecchina]

In the news section of the SIP website, Terry Moore annouced that he will be attending Wizard World Chicago 2001. However, at the Wizard World website, he is not listed as a special guest. Is this an error on Wizard World's part, or has Terry Moore canceled?

[Darth Fett]

Well, it's obviously an oversite, given the fact that Terry would have told us here and on the main site if he had to cancel. Normally Wizard just lists the 'Guest of Honor' and the special geuast who Wizard is bringing in themselves and you have to findout who and where every one else is by going to the publisher's booth. Terry of course will have his own booth for Abstract Studio.

Speaking of the Chicago Convention,
my best friend and I were planning on going to it but last week she dropped a bombshell on me that she is pregnant and because of that will probably will not be able to afford to go. If there is anyone who is from the mid Michigan area with a vehicle who is going that may want to carpool, let me know

Were Is Wizard World?...I mean around what area?

[Arlecchina]

It is at the Rosemont Convention near the O'hare Airport.

Actually it's the Stevens Convention Center now...not that it's neccessary to be picky...AS for folks around here...I will be posting a sign in sheet on one of the pillars in the main entrance of the convention center for the folks at Stranger Than Paradise (SiP's unofficial step brother site) and for anyone here (who doesn't hang there) to sign in and meet periodically throughout the days.

Viva La COnvencion!

I'll be there, as an "unconventional conventionist" lol! With my minkzie too! We'll be comming by car from Winnipeg, and stopping in at Madison to see Chillimuffin & Necroflash. Hopefully bringing one or both with us
I was hoping to bring some kind of t-shirt, but am still totally un-organized and am thinking I might not have time...

[happybunny2]

The bunny will also be there...

[Arlecchina]

I will be coming in a self-made t-shirt promoting one of my websites, http://tavern.black-piano.com
as well as a hand painted jacket with various comic book characters on it. Hopefully will have time to paint Katchoo, Francine, and David.

Seeing as Terry only comes to Wizard World once every two years...
